Pizza crust was disappointing - not as brown and crisy as I expected. I'd return for dessert and pasta dishes but not pizza.

VERY surprised to have a large gratuity added to the bill for a party of two. You should at least let people know that up front. We had good service, so we probably would have tipped her that anyway, but it was still a surprise.

the waitress was not freindly , i gave her my coupon and she comes back yelling in front of the whole restaurant that my coupon was used, which was very embarassing, but the manager was nice and honoredm, I have never used my coupon so I dont know why it would say that , the baked ziti had tooo oooooooo much cheese on it the white one, which made a really good dish go bad. other than that everybody else was quite pleasant

I never would have bought the groupon if I had read the fine print knowing it could not be used for take-out. I actually called to order the pizza for take-out and when I said I would be using a Groupon, she put me on hold, came back and said the manager told her I could not use it and had to dine in. We also were not given the bread basket and dipping oil like the other guests and when I asked about it after we were almost through eating, I was told my waiter was actually a delivery driver who was filling in for a sick waiter and she could bring one if I wanted it. The entire meal was hectic and I definitely will not return.

From Our Editors

With parents hailing from Sicily and Naples, Anthony Russo enjoyed an Italian upbringing. By age 12, he spent much of his time in the kitchen, learning to prepare Old World recipes with his family and family friends. And from the flurry of Italian phrases and conversation, one quote of his father's stuck with him most: "If you can't make it fresh, don't serve it!" Several decades later, Anthony has hand-tossed his own Italian restaurant franchise and, true to his father's words, employs fresh ingredients in the same family recipes that were passed down to him. Amid exposed brick and walls the warm hue of marinara, skilled chefs craft New York–style brick-oven pizzas with toppings such as spinach, sundried tomatoes, and capers. Servers stand ready to answer questions about the restaurant’s wine lists, letting guests know which wines pair best with the pizzotto sandwich or whether pinot noir can really turn dogs invisible.
