Diners at Big Bull might imagine themselves in the Texas heartland, not the suburbs of Chicago. If it's not because of the massive cow illustrations, rustic wooden tables, and Americana decor, it's the eatery's selection of boldly flavored house-smoked meats. Making good use out of their on-site smoker, the Big Bull chefs pile plates with juicy chicken, brisket, and pulled pork, as well as house-crafted cornbread and sides like mac and cheese and pickled veggies.

What's more, they also dole out a selection of craft beers that pair nicely with slabs of tender back ribs that are slathered in their house-crafted BBQ sauce, which also graces the eatery's selection of hearty wraps, sandwiches, and nachos. And, for a unique twist on traditional BBQ fare, the Big Bull team dunks their smoked meats into specialty ramen bowls, where delightfully chewy noodles mingle with soft-boiled eggs, baby bok choy, and scallions.
