They charged us tax on the full estimated value of the meal, which was $130, not the value of the groupon, $55. Not only is this incorrect under Ontario retail tax laws (I looked it up) but it also significantly adds to your bill! This deal was not all it was not that great in the end...will not go back to Coco Lozzones!

The value was overstated relative to the portion size. Regular priced items were twice the size. They charged tax on this "overstated value" and research I've done suggests this is improper tax collection - they'll only remit on their revenue to Revenue Canada, so they're pocketing the rest. Even though I've been there before and liked it, I won't go back now.
