Skintellect Laser & Aesthetics's founder, Yody Jaquez, started her professional career as a doctor—an ICU physician, in fact—in the Dominican Republic. Since her relocation to the US, though, she has turned her focus to aesthetics. Jaquez backs up her custom noninvasive treatments with plenty of credentials, including licenses or certifications in seven different fields.

Laser Treatments

Jaquez uses lasers to remove unwanted hair and disappear troublesome spider veins in just a handful of sessions. She also employs lasers during anti-aging treatments that stimulate collagen production for firmer skin. Her clinic is especially known for its approach toward hyperpigmentation, using lasers to help fade dark spots and sun damage.

Aesthetic Services

Her clinic's other noninvasive skin treatments include resurfacing chemical peels, targeted facials, scar lightening, and cosmetic injectables. Skintellect also offers waxing and electrolysis for hair removal. Additionally, the team is trained in several body-contouring methods, such as ultrasonic cavitation and laser lipolysis. These services can shave off inches more effectively than standing partly behind a door frame.
