By far & away the BESTrestaurant cuisine, ambience & service in entire Plumas County. No other restaurant even comes close....

Beautiful area, very remote, and if you are not a golfer, then you can do a lot of hiking, reading and enjoy the meals at the Wigwam Restaurant. On groupon we got the room for 175.00 for two nights with a 10.00/day food credit and the resort fee was waived. Now the prime season is starting, and the rooms are 225.00 with 25.00/day room fee. Plan your stay for off season for good rate. A little uppity for the price, as I have stayed in better places for a lot less...Hawaii for example. But peaceful, quiet, restful, not any action. if you want more, stay home.

It was further than we thought, but it was worth the trip.
