Instruction and practice in the art of Aikido usingpowerful locks, throws and pins that quickly immobilize an attacker withoutinjury. We are a multi-generational community, committed to empowering anddeveloping our students through peaceful conflict resolution skills practicedin a friendly, non-competitive environment.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?

Head instructor, Judith Robinson6th degree black belt: My inspiration was a family who wanted me toteach them Aikido because of the combination of self-defense, exercise, andnon-violent conflict resolution skills it offers.

What do you love most about your job?

Seeing the light come on when astudent suddenly gets the lesson. Seeing the gradual increase inself-confidence and self-control as well as the joy of exploring a new worldfor students of all ages. Knowing that my students are safer, happier, andbetter equipped to enjoy life!
