Skunk Train, Fort Bragg

Even in the rain this was magnificent! Such a delightful experience to ride a train like this and have the opportunity to relax and meander in the forest amongst the majestic Redwoods! If you like trains and trees, this is a great choice ❤️

I can’t believe I haven’t done this with my family sooner! I’m from Sonoma County in Mendocino County not far and I’m not sure how I had no idea this existed. I took my parents their dogs and my brother for the 145 trip. Amazing views under the redwoods and through the forest only to land in an isolated little area in the middle of the dense wilderness. It was so cool and something we will be doing again. Groupon definitely had the best deal. My only complaint is that I wish I went on the earlier train so we could spend more time at the Glen Blair bar. 11 out of 10 experience!

It’s short but just the right amount of time. It’s about a 20 minute ride then 30-40 minutes to walk around the forest then 20 minutes back. Beautiful view.

Such a fun trip! Train was lovely to ride and a beautiful hike!
