It was disgusting $60 down the drain then the food wasn’t ready had to wait to only get cold food they have no kind of drinks not even bottle water Id like a refund but it’s whatever

Upon arriving at 3:15pm there today, I noticed that there was a sign on the door that there were new business hours now, 5pm-1am, Wed. - Sun. Closed Mon. & Tues. TOOOO BADDDD that that was not mentioned on Any website or Groupon listing that I saw when I arrived at 3:15pm, after reading several reviews on Groupon and Yelp beforehand Today alone. Being as I am not normally near here, and who knows when I will ever be back, I waited in my car doing whatever, and returned at 5pm. (A 1 Hr 45 min. wait.) At 5pm, the door was unlocked, but there was no one at the counter. No one heard me say "Hello?!". Just a painter doing renovations in the other room, who I also saw at 3:15pm. I asked him about service but he shared politely that he did not know. So I called the telephone numbers listed on another note on the wall: (718) 528-3917 & (718) 723-0233 to order, a few times at different intervals. No answer and voice mail was full. Finally, on the 3rd try, a lady came to answer the Tel,, then saw me and said that she would not have any food for another hour. Okay. Really though?!!!?!!! I went back to my car to further wait. After a while I called back to see if I could just pre-order something anyway. This took me to 6:30pm to get exact cash from nearby stores, determine how to use the Groupon coupon with the lady and to finish the transaction. The lady said that there is someone else who usually does that but they were not there. I am trying to not place judgement as I work hard at my job and I am sure that the people here do too, and you do not always know the full scenario, no matter what it looks like to an outsider, but it would have REALLY HELPED knowing that the doors ONLY open at 5pm now and that the food is really not available until 6pm. REPEAT THAT. Not sure if this is everyday or just an unusual scenario for today?? Overall, I ordered one of everything as I was not sure if I would get here again as it is not on my regular route, I am not normally in this area at all, etc., although it is very close to JFK, and super convenient after dropping off a passenger to a terminal.... I was concerned that the food may be too spicy for my very bland and super picky tastes, but I was pleasantly surprised that it was all good. Just the fries were soggy by the time that I finally got home, but that is a small price after waiting 3+ hours, as the main entrees were all spot on just fine. The lady was truly trying her best and I appreciated that. I hope that the owner and/or manager will read this and update everywhere. No, I did not opt to text my complaints to the Tel # on another note on another wall. The (347) person can read it all here. By the way, there is not really a table to eat in. Not sure if this is just now or always. Signs say due to Covid no eating in, take out only. There was a picnic table outside but it was cold and heavily raining. I'd say 4 stars--food and 1 star--overall frustrating experience from A-Z, Pre-food, so 3 stars is a gift right now. Thanks Lady, who apologized.
