From the moment we stepped in, the smiling, friendly staff hinted that we should hurry up and get out of their restaurant. They came to our table several times in the first 15 minutes of our visit to see if we wanted to order yet, stood in the stairs staring at us as we ate (this more than once!), and hovered over us, sweeping in to take any dish that they decided we were finished with. Every dish we ordered had a crispy, fried element to it; we left feeling ill. And though the decor is well-conceived, it is poorly executed, and comes-off as shabby, rather than chic.
