And the selection isn't limited to traditional varieties like crullers or chocolate donuts either—the team members at Detroit Donuts pride themselves on their delicious innovation, whipping up out-of-the-box options such as red velvet or peanut butter and jelly donuts. Bagels and croissants are also among the shop's fresh-from-the-oven offerings and the donut bins are sometimes filled with special-occasion sweets such as paczkis, which are available on Fat Tuesday, or flaky, multi-layer kronuts, available on Fatter Tuesday.
