We enjoyed the samples, great host! We bought 2 bottles per Groupon coupon. My friend was disappointed that her bottle didn't really taste like the sample. I have not opened my bottle yet

A very satisfying and worthwhile visit! The queen bee herself, Deborah Lee, provided an in-depth view of the mead brewing process, and the tasting showed off the brilliant and widely varied flavor profiles that different types of honey provide. Since my grandson and I are familiar with wine and beer and we have home brewing in our backgrounds, we and Deborah were on the same wavelength throughout our visit. And the mead? Spectacular! If you haven't tried mead or have had a less fulfilling experience with it, head on over to Queen Bee.

The person there (assuming the owner?) was very nice, very cool to talk to... but I don't think we got the correct value for our Groupons. There were 3 in our party, and we each had our own Groupon for a tasting and $10 off a bottle. She said the tasting usually includes 5 samples, but said she'd allow us to sample all 9 flavors then get 2 each of our own. Well sampling all 9 flavors meant all 3 of us had to share a single taster of each flavor - no big deal. We decided to support and purchase a bottle, but were told that the $10 off/bottle included in the Groupon was only valid if each of us purchased a bottle? That doesn't seem right - if we each came in separately that wouldn't have been the case. Since we each had our own Groupon that included $10 off a bottle, I still don't understand why all 3 of us would have had to purchase a bottle to receive the discount we purchased? Also, the bottle was listed as $35, but we were charged $42 - I don't know of any city in Colorado that has that much tax. Lovely flavors, really cute place, but wouldn't go again and especially would not get a Groupon for it again as it was clearly pointless.
