Aquatech Scuba Schools, St Petersburg

Gave me the online certification, but has since been unable to be contacted. This is a SCAM. I have left multiple messages for him. You won’t be able to get your underwater work done.

The merchant never scheduled the classes or responded to my multiple attempts. After I filed a dispute they reached out to be with a less than 24 hr notice to schedule a class the very next afternoon. Also the merchant was fully aware that I will be leaving town for a long time that very week and that I wanted an advance notice. This was a waste of money. FYI - The open water class comprises of only 1 pool session. Not sure how good that is for a first timer to learn scuba skills.

The merchant was quick to redeem our vouchers and enrol us online, but has not responded to attempts to schedule via text, call or voicemail for 2 weeks. Will update review with our experience

I recently had a very disappointing experience with Aquatech and their instructor, Rick Butler. I had paid for a certification that required a pool session, but unfortunately, despite my best efforts, I was unable to schedule one with Rick. I attempted to reach out to him for over two months, but he was an extremely poor communicator and I was never able to get a response. This was a complete waste of my time and money, and I would not recommend Aquatech or Rick Butler to anyone looking for a reliable certification program.
