Great restaurant, it should be busier! We suggest changing the menu- pare it down, fewer selections. Keep the a few of the best entrees and add a few new entrees. Offer a dinner salad included with meals and lower the prices a bit to reflect the local market. Advertise/promote your new menu and pricing. You have good potential and a talented chef. The food is much better than most restaurants in Lafayette.

In spite of the soft light and candle on the table, restaurant provided little romantic or intimate appeal (for us). We could hear the conversation from a table all the way across the room. I don't know, poor acoustics? And, while the food was really good (Fettucine Alfredo and a Rib Eye), I wouldn't have wanted to pay full price given the bigger picture I described above.

I eat here all the time but using your groupin was to hard! Had to eat at specific times and only certain items could be chosen so they say they can make money. I felt very guilty and ot wanted to eat the food I use order, can't use it in to go either so it was an ordeal to get it used. I thought money was money spent on what I would eat. In the future if you can't afford to do the groupin don't run the discount.

From Our Editors

On Sunday mornings, Baja Peninsula's cozy interior is home to diners eating dishes of homemade corned-beef hash crowned with poached eggs and stacks of lemon-ricotta pancakes topped with fresh strawberries and whipped butter. At midday, guests graze on steak quesadillas with sour cream and fresh pico de gallo and twirl forkfuls of shrimp fettuccine alfredo into giant, edible knots. In the evenings, Baja Peninsula's chefs lovingly churn out roasted herb chicken breast, seafood risotto dotted with jumbo shrimp, and slabs of cheesecake made fresh daily.
