I had a disappointing experience with this merchant following a video transfer transaction. While the merchant acknowledged an internal error that delayed the project timeline and refunded the expedited processing fee, the way the situation was handled afterward was unprofessional. Instead of focusing on resolution, the merchant took time to look me up personally and referenced my profession in a condescending manner. His written responses were unnecessarily combative, dismissive, and self-centered, shifting blame to the customer and using exaggerated analogies rather than maintaining a respectful, service-oriented tone. As a customer—and a small business owner myself—I understand that mistakes happen. What matters most is how they are handled. Unfortunately, the communication lacked professionalism, empathy, and accountability, which ultimately overshadowed the resolution itself. I hope the business reflects on how customer concerns are addressed in the future, as respectful communication is just as important as the service being delivered.

Good communication after purchase, I didn't like the hidden $25 for using groupon basically made it same price as competitor. Makes Groupon not useful.

Josh, we understand that nobody likes hidden fees. This is why we list the $25 admin fee right in our Groupon listing. We pride ourselves on transparency and as the owner I believe in doing business the right way and that is why we give the customer ALL of the information so they know what things cost prior to purchasing the Groupon. I would ask that you go back and read the entire listing so you can understand the lengths we go to to be transparent. In the "Memories Box" is a "Digitize and Transfer Instruction Guide" that has our phone number that can be used for calling and/or texting. Also, our groupon listing has a link to our website with all of our contact information. We try to make it extremely easy to communicate with us and we are quick to respond! I wish this customer had reached out to ask about their project before leaving a bad review as we are always too happy to update a customer on the status of their project. For the record, we communicate with our customers quite a bit. - when we receive an order online, we send an email - when we ship the memories box, we send an email with the tracking info - when we ship the memories box, we send an email with the tracking info for the return shipping prepaid label - when we receive an order we send an email. - when we review the contents of the order we send an email. - when the project is completed, we send an email.
