Actually, I don't know if I hate it or not. It has never been opened when we've tried to redeem the groupon.

Wasn't even open when we went. We had to wait while they tried to get their act together. Food came from another part of the hotel. Quality was not that great. Two of us who had the 'specialty' chicken got sick afterwards. Glad we didn't have plans that night. It took way too long.

After 3 trips to the Copper Scroll we gave up ever going back. Each time, (even after calling ahead of time) the place was closed early. The first time it was completely locked up, at dinner time on a weekend. The second and third times we called ahead and were told it was open and that we did not need to make reservations (this was with the front desk) and when we arrived, both times, the restaurant was open but the hotel management could not find the chef. The third time he was located in the bar, but we opted not to stay. Completely appalled that we bought two vouchers and could not use them. Will never purchase anything on Groupon ever again. We live several hundred miles from Virginia Beach, so after 3 trips, we just gave up.

The restaurant itself was beautiful. It was only me and my boyfriend in the entire restaurant and it took 45 minutes for our food order to be complete. Mind you we were not given the option of the full menu. We were given a "specials" menu because it was "easier for the cooks to make" it consisted of basic fried foods and a couple sandwiches. We ordered potato skins, mozzarella sticks, a grilled chicken sandwich, and a "philly sub"
