About The Family Drive-In Theatre
When the sun sinks beneath the horizon, a large screen illuminates rows of cars in a field. Inside those cars, families, and twosomes snuggle as the previews start to roll. This isn't a scene from a vintage flick—it happens nearly every night at The Family Drive-In Theatre, where they've upgraded the retro drive-in movie experience with digital projection and surround-sound compatibility. Moviegoers hold a tailgate of sorts before the show, watching their kids in the playground, grabbing Angus burgers and ice cream at the concession stand, or dancing to throwback music. The theater is also dog-friendly and shows movies even in the rain.
