this place does not deserve the negative comments that we saw on line. The restaurant is a neighborhood bar and eatery ,clean, service was good, food was great but we were not looking for a dressy white linen dinner just a place to go after a day biking in rhode island - will go again!

Actually, I picked all the categories to be improved-food, service, ambiance and value. We had long waits for service, we had the dry-no sauce, or butter-just dry cracker crumbs and scallops, and our dessert was partially frozen. The ambiance was nice in a further room from where we were, but ours was like a diner. The value was not there, especially for bad food-with the groupon value, the bad food cost over $110.00 and we had no alcoholic drinks. This was the worst or 2nd worst restaurant I've ever experienced.

Haven't been there in years, so pleasantly surprised that it was so much better with new ownership. Place is clean, food is great, service was good. would go back again

Salad bar needs to go. Personal salad is always a nice touch. Loved our waitress. She was a senior with a certain touch of old time special service. Would go back again to have her and her warmth and special touch. Nice to see Christophers hires all age groups. the food was great. So much better then an applebees or other fast food places. Simplicity at its finest.
