Walking in and feeling the air conditioning in this heat wave was an absolute plus. We were seated right away and bread promptly brought to the table. I had cheese lasagna which was plentiful and very good. My husband had the chicken piccata and said it was superb. An excellent choice!

Loved the atmosphere, Italian music, comfy booth and great waitress. Beyond that and most importantly, the food was not good. The bread and oil was perfect, a good start. We ordered the capres salad, which was good so my hopes wer still up. My unsweetened iced tea was weak. When I told the waitress she offered to brew more and gave me water at my request. I still felt hopeful for the food. I ordered the chicken parm meal, great price at $10 on Wednesday night. I received three pieces of chicken on a good sized plate with penne. The red sauce was good (not great) but that's saying something as I am very picky about red sauce. The major problem was the chicken which was thin and hard as nails. In the end, I can say that I will not return or reco

From Our Editors

At Chiodas Trattoria, chefs draw on generations-old recipes to craft authentic Italian dishes in a genuine trattoria atmosphere reminiscent of American cafes and French bistros. To create the chicken gorgonzola, they toss chicken medallions and potato gnocchi in a creamy gorgonzola sauce with sun-dried tomatoes. They also specialize in authentic entrees such as veal parmigiano, fettuccine alfredo, and frutti di mare—shrimp, scallops, calamari, and mussels sautéed in wine sauce and served over linguine.
