Students of muay thai, sometimes referred to as Thai kickboxing, learn to protect themselves with swift movements of the fists, feet, elbows, and knees. At Team Link Muay Thai, coach Ibere Reis teaches individuals and small groups muay thai technique with the help of 10 grappling mats, weights and punching bags, and a full-size fighting ring. In addition to increased self-defense skills, participants can develop higher levels of fitness and self-esteem.
