Flames Brick Oven Pizzeria, Yonkers

What’s an occasional guilty pleasure for some is a regular pizza joint for others! Yonkers has Flames, a brick oven pizzeria that has quickly become a favorite in the area. Some people just stumbled across it, but others set out to try their great food and haven’t been disappointed yet. While there are more traditional pizzas like cheese, they also have ones like the Siciliano—artichoke hearts, tomatoes, red peppers, mushrooms and mozzarella without sauce. And, everyone who tries their Grandma Siciliano Pie (it looks mouth watering when it comes out) has nothing but good things to say. One of the best things about Flames is tradition: like so many other little restaurants around the country, Flames is family owned and operated. A fine example of American tradition and Italian food, Flames is a great addition to Yonkers and a fast favorite of the community!
