What You'll Get
Vegetables are the antizombie, rising out of the ground to demand we devour their artichoke hearts and cauliflower brains. Hunt down some new green friends with today's Groupon from 118 Degrees in Costa Mesa. Choose between the following organic meal plans:
- For $59, you get 10 premade organic meals (a $125 value).
- For $99, you get a week-long, three-meal-a-day detox program (a $210 value).
Ringmastered by raw-foods guru Jenny Ross, 118 Degrees is a wellness-focused vegan restaurant serving living cuisine prepared at 118 degrees or lower to lock in essential nutrients. Hewing true to the longevity-promoting principles espoused in Jenny's book The Art of Raw Living Food, meal plans are carefully calibrated to support clean organs, strong metabolisms, and likelihood of naming a child Kale. Collected on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays by health-hungry customers, the seven-day detox meal plan includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner for each day, with offerings as enticing as lemon alfredo pizza, miso sea veggies with kelp noodles, peach breakfast pie, and avocado cacao crème with fresh strawberries. The pared-down 10-meal version culls its fresh fare from the week-long program's lunch selections and can be less overwhelming to very slow chewers.
Already low in nut content, the oft-changing menu may be customized to accommodate food allergies. Chef Jenny recommends plenty of water and a forehead-mounted flush handle to enhance the detoxifying process.

About 118 Degrees
Ringmastered by raw-foods guru Jenny Ross, 118 Degrees is a wellness-focused chain of vegan restaurants serving living cuisine prepared at 118 degrees or lower to lock in essential nutrients. The menu, populated with Italian-, Thai-, and Latin-inspired dishes, labels all nut-free items and dishes made with kamut, a high-protein, low-gluten grain. Each cheese on the menu consists solely of fresh herbs blended with sprouted nuts and seeds, allowing milk to be saved for donations to chocolate factories and preschool job fairs.
