Finding motivation to work out sometimes requires lighting a fire inside, but not the kind necessary to apply for fire-eating internships at the circus. Access your inner incendiary with today's Groupon: for $69, you get four weeks of unlimited training sessions at Camp Gladiator (a $160 value). This deal is good at all Camp Gladiator locations in the Austin area and can be used at as many of the locations as desired.
Camp Gladiator’s founder Ally Davidson—also known as the 2008 American Gladiator grand champion—and her experienced trainers use the body's instinctual resistance to routine to create a limit-breaking fitness system. Instructors keep muscles guessing with new and challenging moves during each session, so clients never fall into boring, ultimately ineffective habits, like regular teeth brushing. Trainees test their endurance levels with obstacle courses, tug-of-war, plyometrics, sprinting, and agility drills, as well as traditional exercises like pull-ups and push-ups. Campers should bring their own exercise mat, towel, water, running shoes, and dumbbells to each session. With hard work and a healthy diet, participants should see visible results—during the course of four weeks, clients often drop several pounds, improve their endurance, and start to hoist progressively larger circus animals above their heads.
