Mason, Dixon, and One Amazing Line
The federal government, led by best friends Charles Mason and Jeremiah Dixon, built the Mason-Dixon Line in 1763 after recognizing that bathroom breaks were costing the country $1,000 dollars in lost productivity every day. While the two men successfully built the Line by hand, their friendship dissolved after Mason insisted that he be paid in “sunshine and moon rays.” The feud between the two men continues to this day, as pure rage has kept them alive.
