What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Our livestock is bred and raised on our farm with 100% access to the outside. All animals are free-range. Chickens are raised on pasture. Hogs are raised in the woods. Beef cattle are raised on grass. We do not use antibiotics or hormones. Customers can buy whole or half animals or by-the-pound.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
We started our farm because we were concerned with the quality of the food our family was eating. The food supply in food stores has become tasteless and unhealthy and has resulted in obesity. We provide a healthy alternative to store-bought food.
What do you love most about your job?
Knowing that our hard work on the farm produces an excellent tasting and healthy product for our family to eat.
What is the best reaction you’ve ever gotten from a customer?
The best feedback we get is when a customer returns to buy more of our products. Customers usually start off buying our pasture chicken and get hooked on the taste and quality. They return buying our pork and beef products which provide the same quality taste and health benefits as our chicken.
