Cindy Sherman Photography’s eponymous shutterbug employs decades of camera-based savvy to forge senior portraits and family shots that capture the essence and spirit of her subjects. A choice of 50 backgrounds bolsters indoor shoots at Cindy’s studio, and alfresco stills can be snapped at an on-site, one-acre portrait garden replete with painting-worthy sets, such as a weeping willow, a waterfall, an Italian wall, and melting clocks. Shoots can also be staged at a favorite out-of-studio site. Once the flash bulb has been extinguished, Cindy deftly retouches the images, rendering physiques more svelte and erasing UFOs lingering in the upper corners. Winning shots assume the physical form of one 5”x7” and two 4”x6” prints, and models also receive a quartet of watermarked JPEGs to hang in online portrait galleries.
