There were four in our luncheon party. We had an exquisite 3-course lunch. We had a wonderful iced tea with a fruity flavor. Two of us had the KOREAN BBQ SHRIMP TACOS and two others had the SPECIAL BURGERS. The shrimp was grilled to perfection, just a touch of spiciness at all, the GOAT CHEESE SALAD with a crispy thin slice of prosciutto was one of the best salads I have eaten in a long time. All of us had the BLACKBERRY PANNA COTTA which was so smoothe to the palate with the blackberry flavor served with a Pistachio Tuile. A dessert to die for. I would recommend anything they prepare at Courses; I had eaten there multiple times before the pandemic struck and every lunch or dinner I had was superb. Highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys good food.

My boyfriend and I went for the first time and really enjoyed eating all of the elaborate foods that the student chefs made, especially the take home candy treats! The food was pretty good, although the dishes were stained with water marks and were a bit dirty and the mahi mahi was a bit dry and could also use some glaze. Overall an enjoyable experience.

This was an interesting experience. We went for dinner near Valentine’s Day and were treated to an 8-course tasting menu in lieu of the typical 4-course dinner. The menu was very interesting. The execution was impressive for the most part but sometimes hit-or-miss on a few of the courses. Of course, we realized that students were preparing the dishes, so we were prepared for this and did not expect perfection. We enjoyed the unique appetizers most of all; the actual small main course of tenderloin and duck was just so-so. Our server was a student also and she was delightful. She said they all rotate through various stations ( cooking and serving) during the course of the semester. The area that I felt needed the most work was the techniques of serving and removing the plates by the busboy. A little instruction on proper etiquette would have gone a long way to add a touch of elegance to the meal. For example, the busboy repeatedly stacked up the patron’s dishes at the table when clearing and did things such as putting my husband’s silverware into my soup bowl while it was still resting in front of me waiting to be cleared—ugh! Once, my fork fell off of the stacked dishes back onto the table as he was clearing and was never picked up or replaced. I mention these details not to be critical but in hopes that one of the instructors might read the comments and address these issues. t the restaurant, there was no way to leave comments or critiques of the various dishes or the dining experience, and I feel that might have been a good way to learn of the successes and shortcomings of the meal. That said, we were pleased with the meal overall and look forward to trying Courses again. The Groupon offer was a good value for the meal we experienced.
