First and foremost, the service was amazing. As we were ordering, our server suggested that we would get more of what we wanted for less money if we built our own boil. And that was the beginning of an amazing experience. She was so knowledgeable, kind, and made so many incredible suggestions that we had a better experience than we could have hoped for. The food was delicious—head on shrimp were so delicious and worth the extra effort to peel. The mussels were huge and full of flavor, and the veggie combo had just enough okra, corn, and potatoes for the two of us. We were a little shocked at first when the host told us that there was a 20% service charge for all dine-in guests, but when he re-framed it as ‘automatic gratuity’ we were on board, especially since, when we were settling our bill, she reminded us that the tip was already included so no need to add anything else on. Overall this was a great experience and we’ll be back for sure.
