That's why, instead of filling cavities with conspicuous metal amalgams or little neon signs, he uses tooth-colored resins that blend in with the surrounding enamel. Similarly, he uses Invisalign clear braces to straighten teeth rather than traditional metal brackets. But, even though he likes his own handiwork to be invisible, Dr. Liao keeps his eyes open, snapping digital x-rays and tracking down decay and diseases during exams.
