What You'll Get
Sit-ups remain one of the best methods of reshaping the abdomen, second only to standing in front of a lit cannon. Enjoy explosive exercise with today's Groupon: for $39, you get one month of unlimited boot-camp classes from FitLab of San Diego (a $199 value). Starting October 3, classes taking place Monday through Friday will be held at 2544 Quivira Ct. and Saturday classes will be held at 1400 Dana Landing Rd.
Led by certified instructor and personal trainer Matthew Lombardi, FitLÍab of San Diego sculpts physiques to the sounds of energetic pop music by the bay. During the 60-minute full-body workouts, fitness seekers build lean muscles and slenderize with cardio, core strength, resistance, balance, and flexibility exercises that burn calories faster than incinerating a cheese-fry factory. An arsenal of group exercises, such as the Circle of Death, allows campers to bond over squats, hops, and ominous geometric monikers. The creative instructor never repeats a workout, keeping muscles and minds constantly engaged, and shower campers with motivation and personal attention. See the schedule for a full listing of sweat-inducing class times.
Participants should arrive at camp with water, a towel, a yoga mat, and a New Kids on the Block sleeping bag. Classes typically include about 20 participants but attendance varies.

About Fitlab of San Diego
When you live in sunny California, going inside to work out just doesn’t make sense. That’s the view of Matthew Lombardi, fitness specialist and owner of Fitlab of San Diego. He designed his outdoor circuit boot camp to burn calories rapidly and cause muscle confusion, preventing participants’ bodies from hitting plateaus during training in the great non-indoors. By combining cardio and strength exercises with interval training, agility movements, and endurance tests, Matthew and his team of experienced instructors work to help clients achieve the ultimate full-body workout. Large portable sound-systems pump out pop music in all classes– helping students maintain a high-energy tone throughout their workout sessions.
