Boot-camp classes take place indoors in Midtown and outdoors at various locations in Central Park. Each one-hour class incorporates exercises that draw from martial arts, sports drills, military training, and basic fitness. Fitness instructors warm up classes with dynamic stretches, before moving on to an ever-changing exercise regimen. The day's class might focus on burning calories or toning the thighs and abs.
