Celtic Twilight Christmas
Phil Coulter, sometimes called “Ireland’s Musical Ambassador,” has had a long and storied musical career. He wrote 23 platinum records, performed at the White House, and even dreamed up the wildly popular Celtic Thunder tour. But tenor Andy Cooney, who the New York Times called “Irish America’s favorite son,” has a pretty impressive résumé himself. Fresh off collaborating on Cooney’s 19th album, Bright Brand New Day, the two come together, as friends and estranged half-cousins often do, to celebrate the holidays. Joined by Geraldine Branagan—Coulter’s wife and an accomplished hitmaker herself—as well as the Irish Pops Orchestra, Coulter and Cooney send audiences sailing across the Atlantic with an inspiring holiday concert.
