Choose Between Two Options
- $20 for a one-night pass to Glittering Lights plus four hot cocoas ($28 value)
- $41 for a season pass to Glittering Lights plus four hot cocoas ($63 value)
The one-night pass is good for one carload of people. The season pass is valid for two separate license plates, though both vehicles can’t be in attendance at once, and you can enter as many times per night and per season that you would like. Glittering Lights begins November 13 and is open Sunday - Thursday from 5:30–9 p.m. and Friday, Saturday, and extended holiday hours from 4:45–10 p.m. More than three million lights are featured with many new displays including a light tunnel, kissing Clauses, and a mega-tribute to Las Vegas display area. A portion of every ticket sold goes to Speedway Children’s Charities benefiting more than 50 children’s charities in Nevada.
Shortest lines are usually before 4:45–6:30 p.m. and the last half hour of operation (the lights do not turn off until the last car goes through).
Normal hours will resume on December 26 through January 3, 2016.
Christmas week is the busiest week for Glittering Lights, visitors should come prepared with snacks, games, and other fun family activities.
Normally, cars at Las Vegas Motor Speedway pass by in a blur. But during your visit to Glittering Lights, you'll want to drive a bit slower. That's because the annual holiday event transforms the arena into a 2.5-mile journey through four million blinking, glistening, and glowing lights. Now in its 16th year, Glittering Lights spent its first decade at Sunset Park before making the move to its current home in 2010. There, cars full of visitors roll around the venue with their windows down, music up, and cameras out while soaking in some 500 displays, including a living nativity on some nights in December. Glittering Lights lasts from mid-November through early January and even remains open on Thanksgiving and Christmas, giving Santa plenty of time to sneak around houses planting gifts and stuffing treats into turkeys.
