What You'll Do
Using the scenic surrounds of Central Park as your muse, you'll master the basics of your digital camera during a workshop helmed by photographer Heidger Marx. Heidger shows you how to impart a personal touch on photos by using your camera's aperture-priority or shutter-priority mode, taking control of creative aspects such as depth of field and blur. After a brief overview, you can start building your portfolio by snapping pictures throughout the park. You should bring your own DSLR or point-and-shoot camera with a charged battery.
