The event will be held at a private Albany Park location. The exact address will be shared after purchase.

What You’ll Do

One person’s empty container is another person’s blank canvas. During this two-hour workshop, designer and craft expert Jennifer Dey will help you transform a glass jug into a piece of functional art. Come prepared to create, in comfortable clothing you don’t mind getting messy.

  • Craft a Shabby-Chic Vase
    Decorate a milk jug or mason jar with a provided assortment of paints, twine, buttons, and leaves.

  • Display Your Work
    At the end of the class, you’ll take your completed vase home to fill with flowers or use as a candleholder.

  • Sip and Chat
    This adults-only workshop is BYOB, and homemade snacks will be provided.

Jennifer Dey discovered her love of arts and crafts more than a decade ago, and thus began a love affair that’s let her connect with people in almost all 50 states and several other countries. After honing her skills at everything from painting to printing to sewing, she started her own company, Look! Something Cute, which sells original designs online as well as in stores in Baltimore and Chicago. Her works have also been exhibited in galleries including The Metro and The Hexagon.
