Renowned hip-hop artist and producer Swizz Beatz corrals several of his musical friends for an intimate concert in support of VH1 Save The Music Foundation’s mission: equipping schoolchildren with musical instruments. During the four-hour event, Swizz Beatz showcases a chilled yet enthusiastic flow seen in such hits as “Money in the Bank,” “Top Down,” and “Everyday Birthday.” Each chirp, couplet, and electronic snare clap bounces off the music memorabilia that blankets the walls of the bustling Hard Rock Cafe, showing audiences why Kanye West dubbed Swizz Beatz “the best rap producer of all time.” Funds from the concert will help the foundation form the Tri-State Sandy Music Relief Fund, which will bestow instruments upon students at storm-affected schools.

About VH1 Save The Music Foundation
As music education declines in schools across the country in response to shrinking budgets, the VH1 Save The Music Foundation fights to keep music in kids' lives by bolstering these programs and raising awareness about the benefits of arts education. The organization equips qualifying schools with the tools necessary to establish a sustainable instrumental-music program, such as a set of band or string instruments, a keyboard or guitar lab, or even a mariachi ensemble. Since its inception, VH1 Save The Music has provided new musical instruments to more than 1,900 public schools in more than 192 school districts across the country, improving academic performance, community pride, and self-esteem for 2.3 million kids.
