The chefs at Gray Cliff Lodge Restaurant serve up steak, seafood, lamb, pork, vegetarian, and poultry specialties prepared in a cozy 1912 lodge nestled away in Ogden Canyon. Depending on the calendar and the planets’ alignment with U2’s performance schedule, Sunday brunch kicks off or concludes the week, showcasing all-you-can-eat brunch specialties such as fresh-baked pastries, ham, sausage, and chicken. House-made muffins and cookies tickle tongues, whereas fluffy scrambled eggs and french toast taunt hunger pangs. House-made rolls welcome taste buds during dinner and the restaurant’s signature slow-roasted prime rib ($24.95) flaunts 12 ounces of carnivore candy. Feasting folks can dig into a plate of lamb chops stuffed with sage and side-kicked by mint jelly ($30.95) or rip forks through 5 flaky ounces of grilled halibut ($18.95). Fantastic service...unbeknownst to me, the waitress heard me mention I sort of like prime rib a bit more pink. She quickly wanted to make it right and in the meantime brought us one of their trout to try. It was also fantastic as well as the prime rib which I received perfectly cooked to my perfection.
