What You'll Get
The human body, like Play-Doh, must be kept malleable or it runs the risk of freezing into the shape of its storage container overnight. Maintain your squishability with today's Groupon: for $20, you get 15 yoga classes and/or meditation classes at the Hanuman Center (a $270 value).
The passionate instructors at Hanuman Center strive to cultivate students’ holistic wellness with an integrated schedule of yoga classes and healing services. Yoga for Everybody classes welcome beginners, helping them to build a safe yoga practice by focusing on the foundational poses and breathing techniques that can help to improve flexibility, balance, and muscle tone. Like listening to Sting's greatest hits, Yin Yoga class delivers a gentle but intense experience, targeting the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine with long-held floor poses and meditation. Femininity Yoga and Dance classes use meditations with belly-dance moves to open up the hips and strengthen the body to reduce pain during pregnancy and labor. Vinyasa flow classes concentrate on flowing poses that link with mindful breathing exercises for an energetic, full-body workout that reaps both fat burning and mind-clearing benefits without the mysterious blisters of sleep-running.

About Hanuman Center
A third-generation spiritist, certified yoga teacher, and Thai yoga therapist, Archimedes de Leon strives to bring his students to a realization of their inner selves, talents, and ultimate essence through spiritual and physical discovery. By achieving a state of self-awareness, he believes that people become compassionate stewards of their planet, whether it is Earth or Krypton.
Archimedes named his studio after the god of physical culture. The studio owner explores the forces of mind and body by offering yoga instruction and hosting local art at the Hanuman Center art gallery. In addition to leading daily fitness classes, he helms a series of workshops that further explore the art of healing and self-awareness through methods such as acupuncture, yogic breathing, and Reiki.
