About Havana Jax
Havana Jax's history proves that necessity is the mother of invention. Years ago, the eatery's eventual founders were unsatisfied with the Latin American food in Jacksonville, so they decided to open up their own Cuban restaurant in 1994. Havana Jax quickly built its reputation on popular dishes including its roasted pork, ropa vieja (beef stew), and Cuban sandwiches. The restaurant's authentic menu and colorfully decorated environment has earned plenty of praise over the years from Jacksonville Magazine, who inducted the restaurant into Northeast Florida's Dining Hall of Fame in 2011.
