What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition? We are the only truly independent stroller-boot-camp program in Portland. Our certified instructors make sure that parents get a great workout while their kiddos have fun, too! Bring your own baby, have fun, get fit! Pregnant, postpartum, and conditioned mamas all love our classes.
Exercise is challenging. How do you keep clients motivated and engaged? Our clients are our friends. We are all in the throes of parenthood together and mamas come to class not only to get an awesome workout, but to feel supported in this crazy parenting journey, as well. Clients come for the socialization as much as for the killer workouts!
What was the inspiration to start or run this business? I have a 3-year-old and an 8-month-old, and I hated the idea of looking for childcare so that I could work out for an hour, and I really hated the idea of them staying at a gym daycare. I love that our parents get to teach their kiddos by example that fitness is fun and that mamas are powerful!
What do you love most about your job? _I love that I get to be with my kiddos, and I really love the community of amazing parents that we have created. Working out together bonds us in a way that other activities just don't. Oh, and I love getting coffee with everyone after class! _
