What You'll Get
The sudden onset of hunger pains is the leading cause of unfinished novels, canceled duels, and tied soccer matches. Cut down on unfinished business with today's Groupon: for $25, you get $50 worth of fine Italian cuisine at Incontro Restaurant & Lounge, located in Franklin.
Incontro serves upscale Italian cuisine in a relaxed and casual atmosphere. The dinner menu features creatively prepared classics such as crispy calamari with lemon aioli, pine nuts, olives, and hot peppers ($14). Satisfy circular cravings with a wood-fired alsatian tart flambé pizza, piled high with smoked bacon, parmesan, crème fraîche, and scallions ($12). A refined rigatoni pasta ($17) acts as a diplomat between baked sausage, creamy tomato, fresh mozzarella, and ricotta. Cultivated carnivores can pick from a bevy of prime steaks, including a 20-ounce porterhouse, a 10-ounce center-cut filet mignon, and a 6-ounce thunder shoulder. Cap off feasts with a dessert, such as chocolate-drizzled crème brûlée served with a sigaretta cookie ($7).
Incontro Restaurant & Lounge is housed in the newly restored Brookdale Mill, first constructed in 1883. High-beamed ceilings, deep-set windows, and sturdy stone walls retain a rustic feel, and mahogany and burgundy booths, leather lounge chairs, and a fireplace exude refined elegance.

About Incontro Restaurant & Lounge
After sliding across the soft leather of a horseshoe-shaped booth or finding a spot on the sunshine-dappled patio, visitors can begin their journey through Incontro’s award-winning Italian dishes and wines. The upscale yet cozy restaurant inhabits the recently restored, 14,000-square-foot historic Brookdale Mill, with a dining room, lounge, billiards room, and private banquet rooms offering multifarious settings for romantic dinners, receptions, or celebratory meals following the end of a grueling pasta strike. Incontro's chefs prepare much more than just pasta, however: they also crisp Napoletana-style pizzas in a wood-fired oven; arrange parmesan-crusted pork tenderloin beside porcini risotto and garlicky spinach; and grill citrus-spiced salmon until the fish’s bathing suit completely burns off.
