What You'll Get
Some people are born to run; some are born to scramble up and down walls and ceilings like a Tokay gecko. Unleash your inner lizard with today's Groupon to Inside Moves Indoor Rock Climbing in Byron Center. Choose between the following options:
- For $11, you get a first-time climbing package for one, including equipment rental and a safety lesson (a $22 value).
- For $22, you get a first-time climbing package for two, including equipment rental and a safety lesson (a $44 value).
Inside Moves teaches cliff-climbing greenhorns to traverse vertical terrain without fear. The experienced instructors dote on their new climbers like mother eagles, chewing up all the necessary techniques and equipment-handling procedures into an easy-to-swallow safety lesson and orientation. With the basics on belaying and bridging covered, clients can engage in climb types such as top rope, in which climbers are supported by an anchored rope; bouldering, a rope-free routine performed at lower heights; lead climbing, in which climbers tie into safety holds; and Cliffhanger, in which climbers must overcome their inner demons to save their friends from a group of murderous thieves. Strap into the included climbing equipment and clamber over rock-gym walls covered in state-of-the-stone textured holds that mimic the conditions of true geology, including indentions, protrusions, overhangs, underhangs, and live mountain goats.

About Inside Moves Indoor Rock Climbing
Inside Moves' sprawling indoor-climbing facility invites mountaineers of all skill levels to scale its many craggy walls, nooks, and ledges. Instructors are always on hand for safety tutorials, as well as lessons in top-rope, and boulder-style climbing. Unharnessed climbers can also pilot the facility's low overhangs, which have variable hand grips to mimic a real rockface and black rubber padding to catch you when the mountain decides to "just be friends."
