About Intrepid Adventures
It doesn't matter if you're a seasoned runner or you've just laced up your first pair of running shoes. Intrepid Adventures has the same goal for every participant: to create a top-notch racing experience. The company's professional race team organizes memorable running adventures in northern California, and they anchor each one with high-quality swag and epic post-race festivities. Of course, the actual races are just as impressive as all the extras—read on to learn about a couple of Intrepid Adventures' signature events:
The Little Loco Relay: This event sends runner teams of 2, 3 or 6 galloping through Lassen National Forest. The 64-mile journey begins in Butte Meadows and winds through peaceful forest trails. It also passes the sparkling Lake Almanor where runners enjoy views of valleys, creeks, and mountain peaks.
The Loco Go Big or Go Home Challenge: The name says it all, really. Several different adventure runs are packed into this single event, including a 5KBEER5K, 10K, 50K, 100k and new 100 milers that all wind runners in and out of Lassen National Forest! Participants of the 5KBEER5K get to race to the beer garden and cheer on other distance runners while enjoying a beverage before heading back for breakfast. Each race begins and ends at the Bambi Inn, where all-day breakfast ensures no runners have to forage for berries out on the trails.
