What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Jessica is registered with Yoga Alliance as a yoga teacher. Through her training she learned the importance of detail and the knowledge of alignment principles. This helps to prevent injury and therefore offers students maximum benefit from their practice.
Exercise is challenging. How do you keep clients motivated and engaged?
Jessica encourages her students to investigate during their practice to perceived limitations with an open heart and mind. Jessica is consistent in sequencing and individualized clear instruction so that each student begins to deepen their personal practice in a well-balanced class.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
With more than 15 years experience in the fitness industry, Jessica began to focus on Yoga as Therapy, helping those develop a practice tailored to individual needs. By offering private and semi-private sessions as well, she’s available to spend time with those working with an injury or condition.
What do you love most about your job?
In Jessica’s teaching, she emphasizes the art to truly breathing and incorporates connection of the breath with sensation, moment to moment, so that the poses arise from an inner wisdom rather than an outer form imposed upon the body.
