About Jeremy Guarino at Build a Machine Fitness
In part, owner Jeremy Guarino defines his fitness center by what it isn't. Build a Machine Fitness has "no ellipticals, no smoothie bar, no mirrors, no TVs," its website states. Instead, explains the personal trainer and former Recon Marine, exercisers lift heavy objects and move them long distances while heart-revving music plays. This philosophy guides the entire fitness center. It's most notably present in the intense, daily-changing cross-training classes, which put Jeremy's certifications in CrossFit and yoga to use. In addition to cross-training, the studio offers group and individual personal-training programs.
