Be ready to enjoy yourself immensely! Russell, our tour guide, was skilled, knowledgeable, congenial, humorous, and safety-minded. He was considerate of us, the neighborhoods we visited, and of the environs. We could not have asked for a better experience as the first activity on our first visit to Memphis.
As with any reservation, both parties, Segway tour and customers should be at the site when requested. Luckily our party was flexible, because while we and the tour guide were on time, both the tour owner and another party of customers were 15 - 20 minutes late. We all were able to apply that time to the back end of the tour, but that won't always be the case for some.
Tours usually embark daily at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. from Reel 2 Reel Photography & Fine Art in the Arts District.

About Memphis Segway Adventures
The guides of Memphis Segway Adventures say on their website that they're always on the lookout for "little nooks and crannies. . . that even the locals don't know exist," which is convenient when you need to swiftly hide a bunch of Segways. Those spots might include quirky Arts District shops or fabulous 1950s architecture. As small groups glide through the city on easy-to-ride Segways, they also weave through the city's musical, and cultural past with visits to iconic spots such as Sun Studio, Vance Park, and the Lorraine Motel, where Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated.
