  • $95 for a glass-blowing class for two (a $200 value)

Students learn techniques for forming glass and creating colors as they make a large dichroic bubble ball. Students will practice adding bubbles and teardrops to the piece, and each piece comes with its own tri-color LED light box for display.

Class dates and times may vary from week to week. Students can pick up their bubble balls 48 hours after class. Pieces that are not picked up after 60 days become the property of the studio. For safety purposes, everyone should wear socks that cover the ankle, close-toed gym shoes, and a long- or short-sleeved cotton shirt, rather than synthetic fabrics.

Peter Patterson Glassworks

Though glass art has been Peter Patterson’s career for more than 40 years, glimpses of his other passions come through in his pieces, from his knowledge of plants to his scuba explorations of exotic seascapes. Indeed, he shapes searing-hot glass with the same fluidity as water, drawing on lessons from master teachers and his own background as an illustrator.
