This was my first time doing acupuncture and I absolutely loved it! Dr. Trigiani is so knowledgeable and kind and has wonderful energy! Just by looking at me he knew what adjustments my body needed and I felt great tension release afterwards. Definitely coming back!

Completely amazing healing experience and wonderful to revisit an excellent provider who’s grown so in skill, talent, and insight over the years. Wish I could go back again and again, but alas….it was but a blissful, desperately needed taste of what those with the right access enjoy so freely. I’d highly recommend to anyone who has the finances or correct insurance to continue seeing him.

Wow! Dr. Phil made my visit today absolutely incredible. I was recommended to Dr. Phil through a friend, and I’m thrilled I listened to her! Before my visit, I had never done acupuncture. Now, I can’t wait for my next visit. Dr. Phil was welcoming, knowledgeable, and attentive to my needs. Unisha (sorry about spelling!) was also amazing and responsive throughout the process. Thank you!

The Groupon system glitched and said I used my voucher, but the provider fixed it. My massage was excellent. Thanks!

Stole my money. Says I used my voucher but have not been there jet and says redeemed. Then it says refunded but never seen the credit on my CC or at the app and it’s been more than 10 days.

Dr. Philip treatment was wonderful. He was very gentle with me ,informative and honest. He used a little chiropractor with my acupuncture. The office is warm and welcoming. His front desk Unisha was friendly and welcoming. Great service. Relaxing place! I would go back to him again.

Acupuncture and Acupressure: Hitting the Spots

Acupuncture and its sister treatment, acupressure, have endured for centuries. Peruse our exploration of acupoint therapy to pinpoint the facts on these ancient techniques.

Despite their different names, acupuncture and acupressure rely on the same principle: the stimulation of the body to trigger natural processes. During typical treatments, licensed acupuncturists target specific bodily points by applying pressure with their hands or a dull implement (in acupressure) or inserting fine needles (for acupuncture). These points correspond to meridians, which, according to the practice’s underlying philosophy, are channels that transport life-giving energy throughout the body. By stimulating the meridians, the acupuncturist releases any blockers to this energy flow and restores the body to health.

Compared to the constantly evolving field of modern medicine, acupuncture has remained essentially unchanged for millennia. Evidence suggests that the treatment existed as far back as 5,000 years ago—the preserved mummy Ötzi the Iceman, for example, bears tattoos that correspond to classical acupuncture points. While contemporary scientific understanding has cast a new light on the body’s inner workings, acupuncture remains a popular procedure with mainstream credibility: a 2002 World Health Organization report found that acupuncture can be an effective treatment for conditions ranging from gout to certain respiratory disorders and acknowledged that “its effective rate in the treatment of chronic pain is comparable with that of morphine.”
