Pop's Beef was ironically founded by a son. Frank Radochonski established the eatery in 1980 with his mother Betty, and was later joined by his father and sister, morphing the restaurant into a true family affair. Through the years, Pop's popularity spurred its growth to 14 Chicagoland locations, each of which serves up a classic American menu true to the original vision. The cooks sling italian beef sandwiches, triple cheeseburgers, and all-beef Chicago-style hot dogs, loaded with enough peppers to make a grown man pretend something is stuck in his eye. Today, Frank is pop to four children, all of whom have worked at their dad's eatery to continue the legacy of the family-owned restaurant.
