What You'll Get

Spanning five kilometers, the Racing Humans 5K Mud Run course challenges participants with treacherous terrain and nine creative obstacles. Runners can enter the race during various waves throughout the day starting at 8 a.m. and ending at 5 p.m., at which time the muddy track transforms into a golden pumpkin patch. Sludgy obstacles include crawling out of a giant mud pit, sliding down a 50-foot hill, and going across a river. Following the sprint, newly be-medaled guests can celebrate by cashing in their beverage voucher or grabbing a snack (not included with today’s deal) while ears imbibe tunes from live bands. Racing Humans’ event organizers require closed-toed shoes and provide a gear-check tent for storing a change of clothes or any fresh cucumbers to use during a post-race mud bath. The youth course is also a one-mile activity with two age groups (7-10 years old or 11-14 years old), concluding with activities for kids like a bounce house and rock climbing. Today’s Groupon also includes a voucher that can be redeemed for Human Gear at the on-site Human Store.

About Racing Humans
Racing Humans events pit earthlings against 5 kilometers of treacherous terrain riddled with hills, hurdles, and enough mud to make a bathtub look into early retirement. During spectator-friendly adventures, racers are challenged with a strenuous course, but must conquer a series of obstacles as well, including crawling under barbed wire, swimming across lakes, and high stepping over stacks of logs. Course officials keep feet moving along the route, and afterward, an awards ceremony recognizes the day's fastest competitors and best costumes. Racing Humans also hosts 1-mile events for youngsters aged 7–14, during which kids surmount obstacles without help from their parents or answers from the back of the teacher’s book.
