Exercisers at RC CrossFit practice three types of functional movement groups: weightlifting, gymnastics, and monostructural, otherwise known as cardiovascular. While these domains differ greatly, and the Workouts of the Day to which they contribute can range from as few as 3 minutes to as many as 60, they are united by scalability. In other words, by adjusting metrics such as load, duration, and intensity, all of these movements can be performed by any exerciser regardless of their fitness level or ability to chug cans of spinach.
The result of long-term commitment is an overall preparedness to perform whatever fitness goals students have for themselves, whether that's besting a personal fitness record or playing with their grandkids well into the later stages of life.
